About Star Beginnings

Star Beginnings Childcare is a year-round home daycare, open from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm Monday – Friday.

We offer full time child care for children as young as 3 months through 3 years old. We provide snacks and lunch, and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment.

We took our son to Karima when he was around 14months. It was a bit hard for him to leave us at the beginning and adjust to the new setting. However Karima and her staff have been very helpful and patient. My son end up adjusting well and learned so much there. I like how Karima always holds and kisses my son. They are very close, like family. The Daycare is bright and clean. They have an outdoor space and different rooms for kids to take naps. I can’t be more thankful that I found Karima to take care of my son.

We lucked out 100% with this Daycare! With a baby in the middle of a pandemic, the staff at Star Beginnings have been nothing but amazing. They give my wife and I the “Peace of Mind” that our daughter is having a blast while being kept safe. From masks to gloves to temperature checks they are doing everything they can to keep our children safe! We cannot be anymore appreciative for what those 3 do!

Karima and her team are wonderful, warm and competent caretakers. We started at Star Beginnings when our daughter was about 5 months old. She was always happy when we dropped her off and gave big smiles to Karima and the other caretakers. It was clear how much of a bond they developed. My husband and I totally trust Star Beginnings. Karima is responsive and easy to contact (via phone, text, etc.). Karima would also suggest ideas and things she noticed with our daughter, which was very helpful as first time parents. We left Star Beginnings due to a job change/moving to a new state and were sad to leave.

We love Karima and her team! Our son was in her daycare from 3 months old until he left for preschool at age 2. We always felt like Karima cared for our son like he was one of her own children. He often came home reciting the names of all his teachers and other kids in the daycare, and singing the songs they learned together. As someone who was hesitant to send her child to daycare at all, I would happily recommend Star Beginnings to anyone looking for quality, affordable childcare.

We had a great experience with Karima and her staff. You can tell they’re caring and are great with kids. We started our son there when he was 6 months old. He had separation anxiety at first and but after a week, he was all smiles when we drop him off.

We were so lucky to find this daycare. Karima and all of her assistants are amazing. Our son adores all of them and lights up when we see them. It’s such a relief to know we have a daycare that our baby actually wants to go to (I think he misses it on weekends).

Before our baby started at Karima’s daycare at 4 months, she was napping inconsistently at home and not a big fan of bottles. We were naturally very worried about making the transition. Within a week at daycare, however, Karima and her team helped to put the baby on a nap schedule, which she now keeps even when she’s at home. She is eating and sleeping well at daycare, and greets Karima with a smile every morning. Although it’s only been a few weeks, we are very happy with our choice so far and wholeheartedly recommend this daycare.

My son has loved his time at Star Beginnings with Karima and her wonderful staff! He has a big smile on his face each morning when he is dropped off! The staff makes him feel so loved, and they are attentive to his needs. They are also very communicative about his day and weekly needs, such as diaper restocks and changes of clothes. Best of all, the staff works with us to keep him on his napping and feeding schedule. The drop-off and pick-up process is easy and convenient each day. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Start Beginnings! We highly recommend Karima and her amazing staff, as we are positive you will love them as much as we do!

Our Programs

We are trained in early childhood education and know what to expect from your child developmentally and are able to nurture your child’s growing skills accordingly. Our daycare includes a nice mix of activities during the day to teach different skills, such as singing, dancing, and storytelling.

In our calm and secure environment our teachers will spend ample amounts of time rocking, cuddling, talking, singing and engaging with your little one.

Toddler Care

In our toddler daycare program, your little one can channel his or her seemingly boundless energy and curiosity into fun activities in a safe, stimulating environment.

Our caregivers guide your toddler through this period of immense growth, fostering cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical development through art, movement, music, reading, and active outdoor playtime.
